What is it and why do we need it:
AMIkids is a charitable organization; our mission is to empower young people to reach their full potential.
AMIkids, Inc. provides funding, support, and services to affiliated entities that operate a wide range of programs and services nationwide.
Our programs and services include:
- Community-based Programs
- Residential Programs
- Family Services
- Behavioral Health
- Experiential Education
AMIkids accepts donations of vessels that help fund these programs.
As part of its pre-closing due diligence, AMIkids obtains hull, engine, and sea-trial surveys of prospective vessel donations, often at significant expense to the charity.
As a result, we request that prospective donors agree to promptly reimburse AMIkids for the actual costs of the Surveys and Sea Trial if the donation does not close in a timely manner due to donor delays, or if, for any reason, the donor decides not to donate the vessel to AMIkids.
However, the Donor is not obligated to reimburse AMIkids for such costs if AMIkids declines the donation.
